Schloss Mondsee****

Mondsee is a picturesque town (it featured prominently in The Sound of Music!) well placed for playing all of the golf courses to be found in Salzburgerland.

The Schloss Mondsee is built around a centuries old courtyard - indeed soem areas are so historically important that they are behind glass.

The hotel is a contrast of eras the ancient facade houses ultra-modern apartment style rooms that are split on two levels: downstairs there is a sitting room and full kitchen, upstairs a Double or Twin room (you could even sleep a third person in the living area).
The hotel has a full restaurant and bar, plus there are many others around the squares in Mondsee. There is also a car-park at the hotel.
