The best golf in Northern Brittany

Dinard
Architect: T. Dunn.
18 holes: 5276m: par 68.
The 2nd oldest course in France founded in 1887. Picturesque holes winding along the cliffs and coves. Not long but plenty tough enough if there's the lightest zephyr about.

Pléneuf-Val André
Architect: A. Prat.
18 holes: 6052m: par 72.
The jewel in Brittany’s crown.
Without doubt should be on everyone's "must play" list. Superb layout on the cliff top and diving down to the beach at the signature eleventh with its breathtaking views.

Saint Samson
Architect: Heathrew & Co.
18 holes: 5807m: par 71.
Somewhat isolated out on the North Western extremity of the Cote d'Armour. This is a densely wooded course alongside the pink granite coves. Rich in legend, 4000yr old Celtic dolmens dot the course.

Chateau Des Ormes
Architect: A. d’Ormesson.
18 holes: 6013m: par 72.
Encircling the Château des Ormes, this is a peaceful woodland layout parkland. The occasional water hazard is present to spice up the regal tree lined fairways.

St.Malo (Le Tronchet)
Architect: H. Chesneau.
18 holes + 9: 6049m: par 72.
Seemingly fairly open fairways at first but these soon narrow and stretch away into the murky depths of the Mesnil forest.

Ajoncs d’Or
Architect: Deshuelles.
18 holes: 6125m: par 72.
The "Golden Gorse". An easily walkable woodland course. Playable by all levels and you are assured of a warm welcome in the Clubhouse filled with locals. An ideal way to start your golfing week.

Pen Guen (St. Cast)
Architect: Deshuelles.
18 holes: 6125m: par 72.
A seaside course with the initial holes tightly packed behind the beach. Then a stiff climb to the cliff top and a more testing passage of play with great views out across the Channel.

Sables d’Or
Architect: A mystery scotsman.
18 holes: 5582m: par 71.
On the golden sands of Fréhel. A pleasant links style course with gently rolling fairways and an amusingly chaotic Clubhouse!
