Mère
Poulard**** - Mont St. Michel
A delightful setting in the bay of Mont St. Michel and very conveniently placed if you would like to combine golf at Des Ormes and St. Malo with Granville and Dinard. The Mere Poulard is also ideally placed for easy access from the ports of St. Malo, Cherbourg and Caen.
The Auberge was founded in 1888 by Annette Poulard, a native of The Mont and passionate about the area and its rich cuisine. Her legacy lives on in the guise of Michelin starred Head Chef Michel Bruneau.
The hotel has 40 modern rooms, which contrast with the olde worlde charm of the rest of the building. Nearly all of the rooms have panoramic views across the bay, with its huge tidal swings, to Le Mont St. Michel. A truly magical view, particularly over a lazy sunset dinner.
The Mere Poulard also owns one or two other hotels in the - one even on the Mont itself. We can arrange for you to stay there - however you are at the mercy of the traffic on the causeway for getting in and out!
