On the high plateau around the hotel this classic
parkland layout has a quite British feel to it. Lovely views of
Deauville, Trouville and the Seine estuary. The 9 "Bleu"
holes are ideal for an after lunch round (or there are always the

Etretat

Atop the chalky cliffs, Etretat has some quite
stunning scenery. The Channel is in view from every hole and the
sheer drop of the towering chalky-white cliffs is literally breathtaking.

St. Julien

18 holes + 9: 6 291m: par 73.
Recently remodeled the course is now one of the
finest in the area. Rising and falling across the beautiful Pays
d’Auge hillsides, although nothing extreme. A very peaceful
corner of Normandy in which to enjoy a day's golf. |

A real US style course on the river flood plain.
Huge bunkers and water hazards and excellent greens. The owner has
punctuated the course with some huge sculptures here and there.
Good golf - if somewhat unusual. |

Houlgate

18 holes: 5558m: par 72.
Front nine plays over level terrain with just
a couple of water hazards to keep you on your toes. The back nine
climbs for one hole onto a high plateau from where there are quintessential
views of the Normandy landscape.

St.Gatien

9 level holes plus a difficult 9 that clamber
up and down the slopes around the wooded hillside. A much easier
third 9 allow the hills to be avoided. |

de Bataille

Once played never forgotten. Only an hour from
Deauville and well worth the drive. Lying in the grounds of the
impressive Château that once formed the Clubhouse, this is
a pretty yet tough course. Many of our golfers make their pilgrimage
here every year. Spectacular in May with the floribundant Rhododendrons. |

Dieppe

On the cliffs above Dieppe, similar to Etretat
although with a slightly more linksy feel to it. Ideal venue to
play and watch for your return Seacat to Newhaven. |

Level terrain so easy walking, this honest course
has all its hazards in view. Mind you with its Pinehurst style raised
greens you can't afford to relax until the putter is in your hands...

Just to the North of Rouen St. Saens is a very
pretty course that swoops around a rosy hillside Château.

A modern course to the South of Rouen very close
to Vaudreuil. Although a public course has a healthy Membership
who keep the course in great condition and lend the Clubhouse a
real "locals" feel. Fairly level terrain with a few man-made
elevated tees and greens. |
