Résidence du Berry***
The 18th Century town house of the Duc de Berry
in the heart of old Versailles has been revitalised by its new owners
and makes a very convenient spot for both the Château and
getting out of town to the golf courses.
The hotel has been cleverly
redecorated in restrained colours to match the exposed beams. There
is a cosy bar and breakfast is often served in the small interior
courtyard on sunny mornings. Although there is no restaurant at
the hotel a wide choice is available nearby in Versailles’
“Latin quarter” and beyond.
The hotel does not have
a car park, however, there is a very secure underground car-park
close-by.
