Waterford Golf holidays - Our selected hotels
Faithlegg House****
East of Waterford on the banks of the river Suir stands
the imposing edifice of Faithlegg house. Built in 1783 the house was
owned for many years by the Power family whose stag’s head crest
has today become the club's emblem.
The original house now forms the Reception,
Lounge, Restaurant and Bar: all of which have been appointed in stately
splendour. The restaurant offers a wide variety of excellent dishes
(and wines) prepared by the young French chef. The hotel has a swimming
pool, and gym, plus the health suite where you will find a full range
of sauna, steam room and beauty treatments, even a hairdresser! |

Mount Juliet***
On the course that Jack built, the stately Irish
home has been transformed into a golf and country club hotel. Ingeniously
there are two levels of accommodation, old-style grandeur in the main
house or the bright modern rooms of what was once the stable block
- "Hunter's Yard". Here, you will also find the fabulous
pool, steam rooms, fitness centre and jacuzzis. Our prices are therefore
based on the Hunter's Yard accommodation. Whilst at Mount Juliet make
sure you try your hand at the outsize putting course - if you finish
with the ball you started with - congratulations! |

Tower Hotel***
For those with the energy to make a real song and
dance of a stay in Waterford, in addition to the great golf in the
county, a stay in town at the Tower hotel is called for. The hotel
is situated in the spiritual heart of the town - directly across the
road from Reginald's Tower. Totally refurbished, the modern hotel
now has a whole new life to it, indeed the Riverside bar and restaurant
have become two of the most popular in town. Bedrooms are tastefully
decorated and fully equipped (there‘s even a trouser press to
ensure a smart appearance on the first tee!). |
