Morocco is a fascinating country to visit: the closest part of Africa to Europe - a unique melting pot of races and cultures, where various desert peoples criss-cross the plains, towns and mountains; each adding their own spice to the proceedings.
Unsurprisingly, the country has a very Arabian feel to it, but there is also a ready awareness of Western culture, so although markedly different the culture shock is never too severe! If you have never been to Africa before, then Morocco is a great place to start.

Marrakech is well known as a tourist destination - the old French colony is still inhabited by thousands of French either as their main home or secondary holiday homes. The vibrant city with its magical old Medinah and Souks never ceases to stimulate your senses and a day of your golf holiday should be spent immersing yourself in the local colours and flavours.

El Jadida lies on the coast just about an hour south of Casablance. It is an old fishing port (once upon a time Portugeuse) and is slowly being discovered by tourists so somewhat lagging behind Marrakech in terms of modern infrastructure.
North of the town there are two very nice golf resorts with two contrasting courses side-by-side. A perfect Summer destination as the weather never gets too hot for golf - 30 degrees Centigrade at most - even in July and August! |

Due to its perfect Summer climate Agadir has long been a destination for package tourists looking for a beach holiday so has a few tawdry corners (the French answer to Benidorm?).
However it also has three Golf Clubs with four very nice courses between them and with a little awareness you can avoid the livelier areas of "the strip" if you want to...
