Port Adriano Hotel*****
Port Adriano pool and entrance

South of the ebullient town of Santa Ponça, lies the much more sedate marina at Port Adriano.  High above the small harbour, the Port Adriano hotel looks out due west over the comings and going of the pleasure craft.

The hotel is a moderately sized five-star hotel, brand new and designed with every luxury from the ground-up.  Bedrooms are well sized and all have balconies overlooking the port (sunsets are marvellous).  There are spa facilities on the ground floor, with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and hammam, plus plenty of treatment options.

Drinks are served all day long beside the pool and dinner is usually al fresco too as most evenings are more than warm enough.

Should you wish to dine out, there are half-a-dozen very good restaurants on the quayside, just a couple of minutes stroll away and dozens more to be found in Santa Ponça, although it is realistically too far to walk.

Illot Suites' garden
Every Suite has a sitting room
There's an extensive list of spa treatments

  Illott Suites and Spa Hotel****

Cala Ratjada is a great little town, perfectly located for some of the best golf courses in Mallorca and with a goodly choice of nightlife whether your penchant is for dining, wining or dancing.  In the centre of town the Illott Suites and Spa hotel is an all suite establishment, meaning the rooms all have their own sitting room, kitchenette and verandah.

The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, plus there are beaches at both ends of the high street.

There are plenty of sports options at the hotel from tennis courts, padel (easy-tennis), squash courts, bicycles and one of the largest spas on the island.

Residents at the Illott Suites enjoy heavily discounted golf at Pula.

Illot Park Hotel****

The Illot hotel group also have another hotel in Capdepera - the Illot Park.  Another all suite hotel, that is situated on the edge of the town, just a five-minute walk from the centre.

The Illot Park is very similar in style and accommodation to its sister hotel - so there really is not much to choose between the, apart from location that is!

Two hotels that are perfectly placed for enjoying Palma's frenetic night life

Hotel Mirador – Palma****
Old fashioned family run hotel in the centre of Palma.  Sits right on the seafront and breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the bay and Cathedral is lovely.  Also has a small indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and hammam, plus treatment options.

Tryp Bellver Hotel – Palma*****
If you would prefer a more modern hotel in Palma, right beside the Mirador you will find the Tryp Bellver with a more business like approach.

N.B.  Handily, there is a secure, public car park between the Mirador and Tryp; cost €12 per day (night).

Marriott Son Antem*****Marriott's Son Antem resort
Part of the Son Antem golf complex is the large Marriott resort hotel (with attached timeshares), which is more like a small village than an hotel in many respects.  Large outdoor pool and an enormous spa centre (easily the largest on the island) with indoor/outdoor pool, saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools etcetera…

There are also several restaurants on site, shops and of course its two golf courses and practice facilities: all of which means that many residents never leave the property during their stay!
