The area

Chantilly and the surrounding region of Ile-de-France is not overrun by tourists and remains a real French town - this is a region of the country where one feels in the very heart of France.

Nearby, the walled town of Senlis with its narrow cobbled lanes is perfect for an afternoon strolling. Or for some serious sightseeing (aka shopping?) Paris is only 25kms away and easily reached for the day on the fast trains from Chantilly that will whisk you into town and onto the Metro in half-an-hour.

The Dolce Chantilly hotel

Just over two hours from Calais on the fast French motorways; the Dolce hotel sits beside its own 18-hole course, just behind the peaceful town of Chantilly with all of its ancient charm. The hotel is superbly placed for golfers to enjoy all of the wonderful courses in the area, plus the delights of the town with its classical Chateau.

The Dolce hotel offers all the facilities that you could wish for: indoor and outdoor pools, a choice of restaurants: the Etoile under the conservatory or the gourmet Carmontelle.

The ground floor has a welcoming open plan bar in the spacious foyer. Plus downstairs you will find the indoor pool, sauna, fitness room and jacuzzi. Outside there are tennis courts, extensive golf practice facilities, which even include a golf driving lake!

To guard against the summertime warmth, the hotels offers fully air conditioned rooms, plus there is always the outdoor pool to cool off in.

Your choice of exceptional golf courses

Chantilly is a French golfing paradise - overshadowing nearly every other corner of France with its quality and quantity of courses. A little extra time in the car getting here reaps huge rewards.
July and August are undoubtedly the best months for playing golf in the historic heart of France. The weather is at its finest and all the Parisian families are away at the seaside - leaving the city’s classy fairways deserted.

Chantilly's other Golf courses

Chantilly - Vineuil & Longeres
Widely regarded as the finest course in France. A glorious parkland layout through ancient forest that is an honour to set foot on. Timeless feel to the course and beautifully preserved Clubhouse.
Two 18 holes - Vineuil and Longeres. "Vineuil" being the senior partner and host to the French Open on many occasions. 
Visitors allowed Mon/Tues/Wed and Fri AM)

Apremont
Only five minutes away from its illustrious neighbour the younger Apremont enjoys a huge variety of similarly lush woodland. There is a more recent feel to the course with large water features around the mid-section.
Designed by John Jacobs and remains to this day one of his personal favourites.

Paris International Golf Club
The first Jack Nicklaus' course in France, created in the early 1990's. A truly unforgettable layout with the distinct features of every hole lingering long in the memory. The quality of the course is paralleled by the impressive facilities of the Clubhouse.
A set-up that is reason enough for most to come to Chantilly!

Club du Lys
A fine private Country Club and a traditional parkland course through lovely woodland.  Just on the south side of Chantilly but no more than ten minutes for the hotel.  Shorter second course too and a good restaurant, so why not make a day of it?

Mont-Griffon
A modern, almost US style course on a plateau of high ground to the South of Chantilly offering great views to all corners. The holes rise and fall around the clubhouse and betwixt the numerous water hazards. Having negotiated these the fun really begins as the Club prides itself on having the fastest and trickiest greens in the area. Something which you may or may not thank them for!

Château de Raray
Jean Cocteau's filming of the “Beauty and the Beast” here has ensured the château's place in history. The charming setting is now matched with an enjoyable and relaxing course (no water hazards!) through the grounds of the estate. Don't miss the opportunity to lunch in the château.
