*Overseeding occurs as the average temperatures drop out of the 100's into the 80's and the Bermuda grasses on the Fairways turn a dormant yellowish-brown. Most Clubs overseed the Tees and Fairways with Rye grasses at this time for the cooler months. The courses are perfectly playable (Bent grass Greens are unaffected) they just look a little different (like a links course colour scheme in many ways) which keep many of the Americans away - hence the dramatically reduced Green-fees.

| The Hyatt Summerfield Suites
The Hyatt Summerfield Suites are the perfect style of accommodation for longer trips - such as a week or more. The Suites, grouped around a central Reception and pool area, offer total flexibility for your stay.
You will have with the option of catering for yourself in the evening, or just using your kitchen to mix a sundowner and relax on your patio before strolling out for dinner. Plus you wil have the added luxury of a buffet breakfast available every morning too. |

The suites are located in Old Town Scottsdale where there is plenty of dining options and evening entertainments around you - all within strolling distance.
The Suites have either one or two Double/Twin bedrooms arranged around a central sitting/dining room. We shall advise on the best combination of Suites for your party. The £888.00 price is for four people sharing a two-bedroomed Suite - there is an £8.00 per night supplement for two people in a one bedroomed Suite. |
The Suites are perfect for stays of a week or longer as they are fully equipped with kitchens so you can cater for yourself if you like (or just use the fridge to keep the ice and tonic cool).
There is a full hot breakfast buffet each morning included and the famous Hospitality Hour each weekday afternoon with beers, wines, soft drinks and appetisers on the house!!!
Should you feel the urge to keep in touch with the outside world then there is also hi-speed internet access in every Suite. |

The Grand Canyon is one of the most stunning sights on the planet. We can arrange a helicopter flight over the canyon for you if you so wish?
Arizona is pure John Wayne country - why not try a horseback trek across the desert plains? Or out to the famous Red Rocks of Sedona? Perhaps a look at an Indian reservation might be of interest (and smoke a peace pipe or two)?
Or spend an evening in the exhilarating hush of a hot air balloon, floating above the crepuscular desert landscape.
