A mixed pairs competition week for Gentlemen over fifty years of age and their Lady partners.
First Prize: Magnum of Louis Jadot + £300 Holiday voucher
Second Prize: Magnum of Louis Jadot + £200 Holiday voucher
Third Prize: Magnum of Louis Jadot + £100 Holiday voucher
Join us for three days of competition golf (plus an optional practice round) at La Baule and Le Château de La Bretesche. The competition is open to all Golf Club members with an official Handicap: winners will be decided by the highest aggregate, Betterball, Stableford score over the three days of the tournament.
Four nights accommodation in the luxury Suites at the
Hôtel du Golf International**** in the wonderful seaside resort of La Baule.
Monday 7th June
Arrival at the Hôtel du Golf International
Overnight ferry on Sunday from Portsmouth to St. Malo is the easiest route - alternatively there are day crossings to Caen or Dieppe, Plymouth to Roscoff (or even Eurotunnel).
Optional practice round at La Baule.
Evening: Cocktail reception and poolside dinner - Louis Jadot wines included.
Tuesday 8th June
Morning: First competition round at La Baule - Rouge.
Half of the original Peter Allis and Dave Thomas design, extended to 18 holes with a new loop of 9 holes that encircle the hotel.
Afternoon: free.
Wednesday 9th June
Morning: Second competition round at La Bretesche.
A Peter Baker designed course, around the magnificent Château
de La Bretesche.
Afternoon: free.
Thursday 10th June
Morning: Final competition round at La Baule - Bleu.
The other half of the original Peter Allis and Dave Thomas design, extended to 18 holes with a very testing new loop of 9 holes encompassing vast expanses of water.
Evening: Cocktail reception and prize-giving dinner on the golden sands
of La Baule - Louis Jadot wines included.
Friday 11th June
Departure - or, with so much to see and do in the area why not stay a few extra nights??
