Inspired by the quality of undiscovered golf courses in Europe and the lack of well-presented information about them; James O'Sullivan formed Golf Par Excellence in 1995. The idea was to provide Golf Club Members everywhere with a complete golf travel service, delivered to the standards they would expect in their own Clubs.
We offer the travelling golfer detailed information and appraisals of golf courses, hotels, travel arrangements and local attractions. Once the itinerary is decided upon, we make all the necessary arrangements for travel, accommodation and golf, ensuring your golf trip is totally relaxing and trouble free: just as golf holidays are supposed to be.
Since 1995 we have sent thousands of golfing parties abroad (both private and corporate). Testament to our service is the fact that so many of our guests return year after year.
Golf Par Excellence is (and always has been) fully bonded to ensure that our guests have the maximum financial security when booking their holidays and to comply fully with the European Package Travel Regulations.
James O'Sullivan - Managing Director
By his own admission, obsessed with sport and travel from a very early age. A late starter in golf at the tender age of 30 (as rugby replacement therapy) he has become totally engrossed in every aspect of this wonderful game and battled his Handicap down to single figures. James has traveled and worked all over the world and speaks French and Italian fluently, with a hint of German and a modicum of Spanish.
Cecile Couval - Reservations Director
Cécile has been organising our holidays (and everyone in the office!) for the last ten years. "Meticulous" should be her middle name for the time and effort she puts in to ensure that every aspect of every single golf holiday, whether for two or two hundred, is absolutely watertight.

Alex is our newest recruit after completing a degree in Sports Science at Southampton University this year. With a keen eye for detail and mad about sport, he is quickly getting to know our destinations and the level of service that our guests expect.
Lee Johnson - PGA
Our tame PGA Professional, always available for corporate events and overseas winter taeching tours. Lee is an exceptional golf coach with many years of experience. His uncomplicated coaching style and calm disposition has helped improve hundred's of golfer's skills - from beginners to Tour Pros. When not involved with our corporate golf events he runs his own golf school in Surrey and manages Gary Orr on the European Tour.
