Vintage golf
The recently completed Golf du Médoc
Hotel, just west of Bordeaux, is easily accessed from Bordeaux airport
and an excellent venue for mixing the grape and the Green.
There
have been some big changes to the courses at Médoc, huge improvements
at Lacanau and Margaux and Pessac is as good as ever. The well designed
hotel on the two Médoc courses is only half-an-hour from the airport
and is a great place to stay.
N.B. Bordeaux is superb value in July and August
