Louis Jadot Seniors
Our Seniors week in La Baule was great fun once again. Sixteen couples fought a closely contested battle over the three courses - all of which are looking in exceptional condition (and the courses too!).

Eventually Gary and Julie Cole from Romsey G.C. emerged victorious to claim their prize of a Magnum of Louis Jadot Burgundy and a substantial Golf Par Excellence holiday voucher, which was presented over dinner on the golden sands of La Baule. Very well played to you both and to all the other competitors.

Vintage golf
The recently completed Golf du Médoc Hotel, just west of Bordeaux, is easily accessed from Bordeaux airport and an excellent venue for mixing the grape and the Green.

There have been some big changes to the courses at Médoc, huge improvements at Lacanau and Margaux and Pessac is as good as ever. The well designed hotel on the two Médoc courses is only half-an-hour from the airport and is a great place to stay.
N.B. Bordeaux is superb value in July and August

We were highly honoured this year to be invited to the Louis Jadot en-primeur tasting, where samples of the first fruits of 2006's vineyard labours were on display.
