There are hundreds of hotels to choose from in Rimini stretching along the sun-drenched beaches; amongst all of them one hotel stands out in particular - the Villa Adriatica:  a cut above the rest.  It is housed in a grand old villa very close to the seafront and to the centre of Rimini; its refined interior existing in stark contrast to the bright lights and party atmosphere in the streets outside.  A little oasis of calm amongst the hectic hedonism of Rimini!

Bedrooms at the Villa Adriatica are nicely sized and very well appointed with classic furnishings so you will be able to get a good night's sleep; particularly as the hotel is set back slightly from the street, so it is one of the quieter places to rest your head in Rimini.

The Villa Adriatica does not have a restaurant, however it does offer a vast breakfast buffet so you wil be fully energised for the First Tee.  Finding dinner will not be a problem: all around the hotel there is an almost endless choice of restaurants in town and even down on the beach.  As always, we shall send our restaurant recommendations along with your tickets.

Should you not wish to rub (sun-oiled) shoulders with other sun-worshippers at the beach clubs, behind the hotel is a courtyard with a small pool and a car park too.  The former another area of calm and relaxation, the latter a very handy space in the busy Summer months.

Cesenatico is a charming combination of olde worldiness tempered with a few modern additions here and there: the Grand Hotel is rooted firmly amongst the traditional contingent.  One of the very first hotels in Cesenatico, today it maintains its airs and graces; one can easily imagine the gentry of the day gliding along its polished hallways accompanied by tinkling chandeliers.

The Grand Hotel is furnished in the classic style throughout, with many antiques in both the public areas and the bedrooms.  Beds are made with sheets and blankets - most uncommon these days but easier for temperature control on those hot Summer nights.  Bathrooms have been nicely brought up-to-date, so you will find them fully functional.

The restaurant at the Grand Hotel is of a very high standard, if very slightly formal in ambience (jackets NOT required though!).  For more relaxed dining there are plenty more options in town and particularly along the canal (with its quirky little one-minute ferry at the Adriatic end).  Wherever you choose to dine, the lobby bar with its sunny terrace is the perfert spot for aperitivi beforehand.

The hotel has recently added an outdoor pool, from where you can privately enjoy some sunshine and observe the hoi-polloi on the beach beyond.  If you would prefer to join them the Grand Hotel Cesenatico has a private stretch of beach where you can stretch-out on one of their sunbeds (for a small charge).
There is also a clay tennis court should you feel the need for some extra après-golf activity.

One of the best positioned hotels in Milano Marittima is the family-owned Mazzanti Hotel: bought by the grandfather, rebuilt by the father and run by the son.  It sits right on the beach and just off the High Street: perfect for sunning yourself on the sandy Adriatic beaches or by the pool, strolling the shops, sipping cocktails, dining in style or even a spot of clubbing...

For 'Maximum Marittima' there is no better place to stay!

The hotel bedrooms are light and bright with plenty of room, recent furnishing and good bathrooms too.  Some of these have balconies that look out over the Adriatic beaches (although these do bear a supplement, as you might expect).

Should you be golfing in the quieter, cooler months, you will still be able to enjoy a dip in the pool as it has a retractable cover, very handy.

An expansive, buffet-style, breakfast is served in the restaurant each morning.  When evening rolls around, if you don't fancy meandering into town, the Mazzanti Hotel has a very good restaurant (and wine list).

Another very useful feature of the hotel is that they have purchased land for their own car-park (in addition to the public parking in front of the hotel).  This is a shrewd move, as parking in Milano Marittima is often a problem in the height of the season: not so at the Hotel Mazzanti.
